| Amal Murad introduces herself to the Fashion Bloggers Maha, Zahra and Ekta |
Last week we met with Amal Murad and Maha, Zahra and Ekta (who are fashion bloggers!) at the Pavilion in Downtown Dubai. It was a fun evening and the ladies chatted over coffee and snacks, and Amal even gave them a quick introduction to Abaya design and shared some tips and tricks she uses when she creates her abayas!
We spoke about how abaya styles grew over the last few years and even how the women in Saudi Arabia wear them differently than women in the UAE. The ladies even discussed the western inspirations for abayas recently and vice versa! At one point, Amal stressed about the creative challenges involved given the cultural considerations and the purpose of the abaya! We had such a great time with these ladies and hope to hear from them soon! Check out some of the images from that evening below!
